Is there a daily news summary prepared by the White House or Congress that’s available to the public?

I remember hearing somewhere that either Congress or the White House (or both) prints a summary or clipping service of various news accounts for the President and/or members of Congress. Is that true and is it available to the public?

De samenvatting van het Witte huis wordt gegeven aan de media bij briefings, en zij gebruiken het om het nieuws aan het publiek voor te stellen.
Er is geen uitgave van het die specifiek aan het publiek wordt uitgedeeld dat ik van me bewust ben.
